Seals for lift doors and sliding doors

Lift doors and sliding doors place special demands on seals: they must reliably seal large areas, allow smooth sliding and at the same time provide protection against draughts, moisture and noise. GfA offers suitable solutions for both classic sliding door seals and special lift-and-slide door seals.

Materials: PVC and TPE

• PVC – robust, easy to maintain and durable. Proven for standard applications where stability and cost-effectiveness are paramount.
• TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) – elastic, dimensionally stable and with high resilience. Ideal for heavy-duty sliding doors that need to remain smooth-running and tight over the long term.

Colours and custom colours

Our sliding door seals and lift-and-slide door seals are available in the standard colours black, window grey, white and brown. For production quantities of 200 metres or more, we can also manufacture almost any custom RAL colour – for a perfect visual match to the door and façade.

Variants and models

The range includes different designs so that the right solution is available for every application. This also includes profiles without self-lubrication, which guarantee consistent material quality without additives. Not all models are available in this variant – the selection depends on the profile series and intended use.

Sliding door seals

These profiles ensure reliable sealing along the sliding elements. They prevent draughts and driving rain, improve thermal insulation and ensure a high level of operating comfort.

Lift-and-slide door seals

Specially developed profiles for lift-and-slide doors reliably seal large-area elements, even under high mechanical stress. They combine elasticity and stability so that the door is easy to operate over the long term while providing optimum protection.
