Stop seal with lip

Stop seals with lip ensure a particularly effective seal between the window sash and frame. The additional lip geometry adapts flexibly and ensures even pressure distribution and a high level of tightness – even with construction tolerances. This provides optimum protection against draughts, moisture, dirt and noise, while at the same time improving energy efficiency and closing comfort.

Materials

Our lip seals are available in three proven materials:

PVC – robust, economical and easy to maintain.
TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) – elastic, durable, temperature-resistant and with high resilience.
Silicone – permanently elastic, UV- and weather-resistant; ideal for demanding applications.

Colours and custom colours

Standard colours: black, white, brown, grey, beige, transparent. Special colours: brown, window grey, anthracite grey, graphite black and basalt grey. For production quantities of 200 metres or more, almost any RAL custom colour is possible – for maximum design freedom.

Sealing strips with lip: variants and models

Various designs are available depending on requirements:

Foamed – for particularly soft, low-noise closing.
Talcum-coated – for easier installation and reduced friction.
With anti-stretch thread – prevents changes in length and ensures a permanently accurate fit.
with tear-off strip – allows flexible adjustment of the closing pressure.
with lubricant (oil) – reduces friction, facilitates the closing process and increases service life.
